This book, produced for the exhibition Dernière danse [Last Dance] at the Galerie Heitz in the Palais Rohan in Strasbourg, is a reworking of a book by Walter Draesner, Ein Totentanz. Nach Scherenschnitten von Walter Draesner, published in 1922.

The typeface used, Totentanz (German translation of “dance of death”) by Yoann Minet, is based on lapidary characters found in the Paris catacombs.
